Q. Is financial core only for screen actors?

A. While this website focuses primarily on screen actors who work within the jurisdiction of the union SAG-AFTRA, financial core is not just for screen actors.

If you are a member of SAG-AFTRA, any member can declare financial core status. This means voiceover artists, puppeteers, broadcasters, journalists, announcers, dancers, and singers who are members of SAG-AFTRA or who are eligible to join SAG-AFTRA can all declare financial core status.

Also, if you are the member of nearly any labor union (e.g., Actors’ Equity Association), you may also declare financial core status within that union.
